I realized today that I dropped off the face of the blogging planet as quickly as I jumped into it. Life has been crazy and all the little things that need done for the wedding seem to be multiplying instead of shrinking. But, we are officially under the three month marker and that makes me a VERY HAPPY bride-to-be. It's time. Time to be married. Time to live with my husband and not my brother or roommates. Time to wake up next to him. Time to kiss him goodnight...every night. Time to be Mrs. Hill to the best Mr. Hill a girl could ask for.
Student teaching is finally starting to wind down. I can't wait for this week with my unit plan to be over and then things will really slow down. My host teacher is taking over spelling and math this week so my load is lifted a bit, though spelling is not really any work at all. I finally got my first perfect evaluation of student teaching (about time!) and can now write short form lesson plans. Thank you Jesus. Really.
My kids are hilarious. But they are full of it lately! I blame it on the weather, the fact that they haven't had a real break since Christmas, and their ages. We are having girl drama and boys trying to display their manliness. I just wish they would realize how lucky they are to be kids and stay that way just as long as they can! :-) My best compliment this past week was that "You always come up with the funnest ways to review!" Why thank you my dear. You are the bright spot so many days and you were this day too.
Thing to ponder: Should I stalk my registries and enjoy the surprise of who bought me which gift or should I be surprised by both what we get AND who bought them?? We shall see...
In other news, I keep realizing what awesome friends and family I have. They are great. If you are one of them, thanks for everything you do to keep me sane lately. Goodnight!
